CELTIC aren’t having much luck with injuries in the buildup to their Scottish Cup final with Aberdeen.
And none have been more costly than the horror injury suffered by Hoops star Jota.
Brendan Rodgers has revealed Celtic will need to rotate in order to nurse their walking wounded ahead of the Scottish Cup final on 24 May.
Jota’s injury has left him no choice but to sit out the action though, as we told last week that the Portuguese could be out until next YEAR after rupturing his ACL.
And the winger has now broken his silence on the horror knock, taking to Instagram to address Celts fans and discuss his recovery.
Jota wrote: “So, just passing by to let you know from myself.
“Obviously pretty sh***y and all of that stuff buuuttt, the amount of crazy worse things that could have happened is huge, right.
“I’ve made my professional debut about 10 years ago.
“I believe now this is life whistling for the career half time break and giving me this deep inner breath to get me ready for the 2nd half of this ride.
“And mannn, how exciting it will be.
“I’ll now retreat, allow the wounds to naturally heal and give me the opportunity to embrace the growth that only stillness and pain can teach.
“Things are about to slow down, and as a good friend once told me… ‘Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast’.
“See you very soon, love you all!”
