By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) 1st Division Football Championship continues this week as Caesar Ridge FC and Reggae Boyz FC prepare to face off in a rescheduled match on Wednesday, May 14, at the Marion Jones Sports Complex.
This matchup was originally set to take place on Sunday, May 4, but was postponed due to a referee shortage that disrupted multiple fixtures. Now, both teams will be eager to secure valuable points as the championship heats up.
The competition resumed last Thursday, May 8, with two exciting matches. Tut Bay FC dumped Hattieville United 6-0 displaying their attacking strength. Meanwhile, Kelly Street Bombers stunned Survivors FC 2-0.
With the championship race intensifying, Caesar Ridge FC and Reggae Boyz FC will look to seize their opportunity and make an impact when they take the field on Wednesday.
