Butterfield Bank slid 1.8 per cent on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today as 501 shares traded. The bank closed at $55.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 57.57 points, or 1.6 per cent, to close on 3,540.87.
For the week, the index slipped 1.62 per cent. The only other issuer to trade was Allshores. The insurer gained one cent to close the week on $24.
Volume for the week was 11,501 shares, while turnover was $291,465.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 41 cents, or 0.73 per cent, to close at $55.87 on the New York Stock Exchange today, on below-average volume of 91, 361 shares.
