Antigua Grammar School (AGS) and Princess Margaret School (PMS) advanced to the final of the Ministry of Sports Interschool Under-19 T20 Competition following dominant semifinal wins on Friday. The two teams are set to meet on Thursday in what promises to be an exciting finale.
PMS will enter their second final in a week after being declared joint champions of the Two-Day Competition alongside Pares Secondary School earlier this week. In a rematch against the same opponents, this time in the T20 format, PMS secured a comfortable win at the Factory Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss and choosing to field, PMS quickly took control. Elijah Miller struck early with figures of 2-5, while Janiel Henry (2-10) removed key batter Tayari Tonge for just one. Tyran Francis (2-15), Ondre Peters (1-19), and Akez France (1-5) maintained tight lines, restricting Pares Secondary School to just 79 all out in 18.5 overs. Kadeem George top-scored with 30.

In reply, PMS made light work of the chase. Jquan Athanaze led the way with 33, while Tyran Francis added 13 in a 48-run partnership. Kerique Mentore finished the job with a quick 13 as PMS reached 81 for 3 with 10 overs remaining, sealing a seven-wicket win.
At Antigua Grammar School (AGS), the hosts overwhelmed All Saints Secondary School (ASSS) to secure their place in the final.
AGS posted 215 for 2 from their 20 overs, led by Leonardo Ducreay with a composed 51. He was supported by captain Hosea Roberts (43) and Shane Walsh (38). The innings was also aided by 52 extras from the bowling side, including 42 wides and seven no-balls.
Chasing 216, All Saints Secondary never got going, with six batters dismissed for ducks. AGS bowlers dominated throughout, led by Mark Crawford with 5-12, while Dante Odlum (2-3) and Dejaunte Spencer (2-9) provided strong support.
AGS completed a 183-run victory to set up the final against PMS, with the venue named as the Antigua Recreation Ground.
