THIS former Scotland star is no stranger to being a cult hero.
From emerging as a fan favourite in Scotland as a youngster at Hearts to making the same impact in Wales with Cardiff – you wouldn’t believe that he managed to do it a THIRD time down south.
Callum Paterson always manages to win over supporters with his standout displays, having done the very same during his five-year stint at Sheffield Wednesday.
But can he continue his impressive streak at the fourth club of his career after being announced as their latest signing?
Well, time will tell as Paterson could make his debut THIS WEEKEND in front of his new fans in England‘s fourth tier.
The versatile ex-Hearts star has joined MK Dons in a surprise move just weeks after leaving Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday amid their financial woes and transfer restrictions.

Patterson featured 186 times for the Owls over his five-year spell and contributing to 46 goals during that time.
He netted six times in the Championship last season.
But now he’s dropped a couple of divisions to join MK Dons and fans can’t believe they’ve managed to pull off such a transfer coup.
Reacting to the news on social media, one MK Dons fan wrote: Unreal. What a signing ❤️”
Another commented: “Can’t believe this. What a deal that is!”
Speaking to the club’s website, Patterson said: “I met the manager a couple of weeks ago, he shared his plans with me, and he had some great ideas, and I wanted to be a part of it!
“He’s got a clear plan and he’s a really approachable guy, it makes the difference when you can speak to the manager and he tells you exactly what he wants.
“I like to get stuck in and put the ball in the back of the net. My game is running and working hard, that’s when you get your rewards, they don’t fall in your lap, you’ve got to go and get them!”
Manager Paul Warne said: “It’s great news that we’ve convinced Callum to come to the club. I’ve spoken to him numerous times over the summer.
“He’s a player who’s always been a thorn in my side when I’ve managed teams against him!
“He’s played in numerous positions and can slot in across the front line. He’s good in the air, works really hard for the team, and he’s a winner, which is what we want at this football club.
“I think he’s a massive addition to the frontline, both in training and on matchdays. Everyone is thrilled to have him here, and we all look forward to working with him!”
