CELTIC are pricing outcast Gustaf Lagerbielke out of his dream move to Dutch football, according to Twente Enschede technical director Arnold Bruggink.
The 24-year-old is on loan with the Eredivisie club until the end of the season and is then due to return to Parkhead, where he still has three years left on his deal.
Lagerbielke revealed at the weekend he wanted to turn the loan move into a permanent one, but it depended on Twente and Celtic reaching an agreement.
And, according to Bruggink, there doesn’t seem much hope of that.
He said: “In this case, we are dependent on what Celtic want.
“They are asking for quite a bit of money.

“He is a very stable defender. We would like to make the deal permanent, but I think it is not very realistic at the moment.”
The Swedish international cost Celtic £3 million when he signed from homeland club Elfsborg two years ago.
However, he made only four league starts and was shipped off to the Netherlands on loan.
The interested party were hoping to secure the central defender’s services for less than £2 million.
The man once targeted by Dutch giants Ajax had been hinting at a desire to stay in the country for a while, revealing that the Parkhead parent club didn’t keep in contact with him all that much.
With a heap of time left on his Hoops contract and no option-to-buy clause negotiated in the loan move, it’s up to both teams to either come to an agreement or call it quits.

Despite having a very brief stint in the green and white before it started to fall apart and saw him leave, it wasn’t all doom and gloom.
He can look back on playing in a victorious Old Firm derby against Rangers and netting a winning goal against Feyenoord in the Champions League, all in just 10 appearances!
The Swede said of his loan move:
He said: “If we make it into Europe, Twente will have more money to spend. The same applies if Twente sells players in the summer.
“So it’s up to the technical directors of Celtic and Twente to reach an agreement about me.
“I want to play and I feel good in the Netherlands. I can certainly imagine my future being here.”
