On Saturday evening, fans witnessed another action-packed night of volleyball in the ABAVA Division one local league at the YMCA Sports Complex, beginning with a competitive women’s matchup between Da Squad and Stoneville.
After dropping the first set in a close battle, Da Squad bounced back to dominate the next three sets, ultimately sealing a 3-1 victory in a match that lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. The won the match 24 – 26, 25 – 16, 25 – 15 and 25 – 23.
In the second match of the evening, High Flyerz delivered a dominant performance, sweeping Invaders 3-0 in just 1 hour and 12 minutes with scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-13.
