MARCUS RASHFORD says he wants to join Barcelona after issuing a come-and-get-me transfer plea to the Spanish champions.
The Manchester United misfit, frozen out by Ruben Amorim, declared that he dreams of playing alongside superstar Lamine Yamal in a stunning interview while on holiday.

And Rashford is even ready to switch from his natural position on the wing to an outright No9 role to make the move happen.
Speaking to Spanish YouTube channel XBuyer in Marbella, Rashford was asked whether he wants to play with Yamal one day.
The former Aston Villa loanee declared: “Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. So hopefully, we’ll see…”
On moving from the wing to a central forward role, Rashford added: “For me as I’ve got older, the No9 position is becoming more comfortable, more natural.
“Things like playing with back to goal is becoming easier for me, you’re always in front of the goal and always dangerous.”
Rashford continue to sing Yamal’s praises and even tipped him to win the Ballon d’Or.
He explained: “(Yamal) is gonna be… it’s difficult to put into words what he’s doing because he’s not supposed to be doing it at 16, 17.
“He’s playing at the highest level, I don’t think we’ve seen it. To have his mentality is a skill.

“He’s not normal to be doing what he does and he will keep improving.
“(The Ballon d’Or) If you look at it in football ability he has to win, but then you look at Ousmane Dembele, the Champions League…”

Rashford is currently on holiday in Spain while also training for the start of pre-season.
Admitting that he loves being in the country, Rashford said in another Barcelona transfer hint: “Spain is nice, it’s not too far from home.
“If I’m training over a long period, my family can come for a few days, it’s a nice location and good weather.”
Rashford further endeared himself to Barcelona fans by likening himself to Nou Camp idol and former Arsenal star Thierry Henry.
He noted: “Henry was comfortable playing off the left and in the middle, he’s free flowing.
“When I was young I always enjoyed watching clips of him.”
Later in the interview, Rashford hinted that he was seeking a less “difficult” life abroad.
He said: “The best (thing about being a footballer) is we get to do what we love every day, but the worst is the life.

“It might be different in Spain but in England it’s difficult to walk the dog, go to the shops…”
Rashford made his Man Utd debut aged 18 in 2016 and revealed that he combined his first season in United’s senior squad with studying at college.
But his hectic new lifestyle in the first team, combined with Thursday nights in the Europa League followed by Friday morning lessons, resulted in him dropping out.
Rashford revealed: “I didn’t like (studying) but I wanted to finish as I only had six months left.
“I wanted to finish but it was too difficult. We were playing in the Europa League really late on Thursdays and then Fridays I had to wake up and go to college.
“I was always late to training because of the traffic, so every Friday (I got) a fine.”
Rashford also unveiled his all-time football XI, opting for plenty of throwback stars.
He opted for Gigi Buffon in goal, with a backline featuring Brazilian full-backs Cafu and Roberto Carlos either side of Italian defenders Alessandro Nesta and Paolo Maldini.

In midfield, Rashford plumped for Barcelona legends Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta alongside Real Madrid hero Zinedine Zidane.
And up front, he chose Ronaldo Nazario through the middle with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo either side.
