By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Monday night’s doubleheader marks the decisive turning point in Group B, where all four teams remain in contention for a place in the quarterfinals. Canada lead the group but haven’t secured passage just yet, while Honduras, Curaçao, and El Salvador each have a lifeline heading into their final fixtures in Houston and San Jose.

Canada vs El Salvador
📍 Shell Energy Stadium, Houston, Texas
🕗 9:00 PM local / 8:00 PM Belize Time
Canada sit atop Group B on four points and a commanding +6 goal differential after their explosive start against Honduras. A win would clinch top spot, while a draw might be enough depending on results elsewhere. El Salvador, bottom of the group on one point, must beat Canada and hope the other match swings in their favor to advance.
Honduras vs Curaçao
📍 PayPal Park, San Jose, California
🕗 7:00 PM local / 8:00 PM Belize Time
Second-placed Honduras (3 pts) remain in control of their own fate but carry a –4 goal differential. A win over Curaçao guarantees progression. Curaçao, still unbeaten with two draws, will need their first win of the tournament to have any chance — and even then, goal difference may come into play depending on what unfolds in Houston.
