From dominant performances to nail-biting finishes, the latest matchups have reshaped the playoff picture and intensified the race for conference supremacy.

Cayo Western Ballaz 87–82 Belize City Thunderbolts (Saturday, July 5)
In a Mayan Cup clash, the Cayo Western Ballaz edged the Belize City Thunderbolts in a thrilling 87–82 victory. Arik Nicholas was sensational, exploding for 34 points and 15 rebounds, leading the Ballaz on both ends of the court. He was supported by Dennis Flowers III, who netted 17 points and dished out four assists.
The Thunderbolts fought valiantly behind Matthew Young and Tyrone Hall, who combined for 40 points—Young pulling down 13 rebounds and Hall grabbing eight. Victor Evans added 19 points.
Corozal Cerros Suns 72–49 Punta Gorda Panthers (Saturday, July 5)
The Suns delivered their most complete performance of the season, dismantling the Panthers behind Jamaal Clifton’s 20-point, 12-rebound double-double. Greg Rudon added 12 points.
Jaden Sutherland led the Panthers with 14 points.The Panthers struggled to find rhythm, falling behind early and never recovering. The win gives the Suns a much-needed boost as they look to climb the standings.
San Pedro Tiger Sharks 90–82 EZ Investments Dangriga Dream Ballers (Friday, July 4)
The undefeated Tiger Sharks extended their win streak to eight with a commanding home victory over the second-place Dream Ballers (5–3). Jihad Wright poured in 18 points, while Keon Rowland added 16 and Malik Hunt 14 in a balanced offensive effort. Brian White controlled the glass with 14 rebounds.
Kirk Smith Jr. was the point man for the Dream Ballers with 18 points and nine rebounds. Malik Hunt netted 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Despite their strong effort, the Dream Ballers couldn’t overcome San Pedro’s relentless pressure.
Belize City Thunderbolts 82–62 Belmopan Capital City Kings (Thursday, July 3)
The Thunderbolts opened the weekend with a dominant win over the Kings. Tyrone Hall (19 pts, 5 ast) and Glency Lopez (18 pts, 4 ast) led a dynamic backcourt, while Luis Sosa Jr. added 14 points. Matthew Young controlled the boards with 18 rebounds.
Belmopan’s Brandon Flowers scored 16 points and Shane Pratt netted 13.
The Belize City Thunderbolts’ tempo and execution proved overwhelming.
