The Fort Road Community Football League heated up over the weekend, with Villa producing a goal-laden encounter against Fort Road.
On Saturday, Villa produced a devastating attacking display to overwhelm Fort Road in the day’s most spectacular match. The visitors got off to a flying start when Tyrik Hughes found the net in the 12th minute to establish early control.
Eroy Gonzales extended Villa’s advantage in the 28th minute before Hughes completed his brace with a well-taken goal in the 39th minute. Jahquane Richards added to Fort Road’s misery with a strike in the 40th minute, leaving the home side facing a mountain to climb.
The home team managed to pull one back through Dion Lavonn in the 45th minute, providing brief hope for their supporters. However, Villa’s relentless attacking continued in the second half.
Kayeem Hughes joined the scoring party in the 55th minute, before Jordan Francis completed the rout with a goal in the 60th minute.

Another match saw Enforcers secure a hard-fought victory over Exclusive Ballaz in a closely contested match. Tishorn Gibson opened the scoring for Enforcers in the 36th minute, giving his team an early advantage.
The drama intensified in the second half when Keon Greene converted from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute to double Enforcers’ lead. Exclusive Ballaz responded three minutes later through an unfortunate own goal by Denzil Roach in the 55th minute, but it proved too little too late as Enforcers held on for the victory.
Friday’s encounter between Blackburn and Westham ended in a goalless draw, with both teams unable to find the breakthrough despite their efforts. The defensive display from both sides resulted in a tactical battle that failed to produce any goals.
The league continues on Monday, July 21st, with Real Blizzard set to face Earthquake at 5:00pm.
