A stunning half-century from Mitchell Owen and Cameron Green guided Australia to a three-wicket win over West Indies at Sabina Park in Jamaica. Set 190 for victory, the Aussie batters got to their target with seven balls to spare.
A dream debut for Owen with the bat and ball as he took the key wicket of Shai Hope before scoring 50 off 27 to win the Player-of-the-Match award. He belted 6 sixes while Green smacked 5 sixes and 2 boundaries, scoring 51 off 26 deliveries.
The pair added 80 from 40 for the fifth wicket to rescue Australia from 78 for 4 before they were dismissed.
With Australia still needing 15 off 21, Connolly (13), Dwarshuis (5), and Abbott (5) did just enough to carry the visitors across the finish line.
Holder, Alzarri Joseph, and Gudakesh Motie all took two wickets apiece.

Roston Chase then joined Hope in a stand of 91 from 55 balls, and the West Indies looked set for a huge score of 123 for 1 in the 13th over. Soon after, Dwarshuis started a West Indies collapse, dismissing Chase on 60 off 32 in the same over. Chase hit 9 fours and 2 sixes in his innings.
Hope was dismissed for 55 runs off 39 balls in the 16th over, leaving the score on 159/3. His knock included 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.
Hetmyer came to the crease and threatened to push the West Indies well over 200 as he smacked 2 boundaries off Ellis in the 18th over, but then the West Indies lost 4 for 7 off the last 16 balls of the innings, restricting them to 189 for 8.
Dwarshuis took 3 wickets for 1 run in the 19th with three mis-hits caught in the deep. Ellis closed out the last with some help from Green, who denied Hetmyer a certain six with a stunning catch, caught at full stretch on the rope.
Hetmyer scored 38 of 19, with two fours and three sixes. Andre Russell scored only 8, Alzarrri Joseph scored 3, and Roveman Powell scored one not out.
Dwarshuis was the ace bowler for Australia and ended with 4 for 36.
