Antigua and Barbuda’s Bianca Mitchell registered a time of 2:11.40 to finish fourth in the Women’s 200 meters Freestyle event at the ongoing World Swimming Championships being held in Singapore on Monday.
Swimming at the Singapore Sports Hub, Mitchell swam to the finish behind of Harper Barrowman of the UK, Hiruki de Silva of Sri Lanka and Jehanara Nabi of Pakistan who were first second and third respectively. Mitchell’s time did not qualify here for the next round.
Earlier, Naeem De Souza registered a new personal best of 26.52 in the Men’s 50 Meters Butterfly as he finished third in his heat. Despite his mammoth effort, the PB did not qualify De Souza for the next round of the competition.
