Celtic vs FC Kairat preview
Celtic couldn’t have asked for a better Champions League play-off tie as they look to join Europe’s elite in the league phase once again.
There remains a strange feeling over the Hoops just now, with Brendan Rodgers clearly unhappy at the lack of transfers coming in.
Yet they’ve won all three competitive games so far and conceded just once in the process.
However if Daizen Maeda is going to continue operating off the left, a new centre forward is an absolute priority for Celts should they progress beyond this tie.
And it’s definitely a tie they should be navigating, particularly when looking at the bookmaker odds.
FC Kairat have done really well to reach this stage of the competition, seeing off Olimpija Ljubljana, KuPS and Slovan Bratislava already in qualifying.
