PREMIER League ref David Coote has been charged with making a category A indecent video of a child.
It comes almost a year after the disgraced official was sacked by refereeing chiefs last December.
Coote, 43, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday in the first hearing related to the charge.
A category A charge relates is the most severe classification of indecent images or video depicting penetrative sexual activity.
