RANGERS have been hit with a one-match away fan ban for Uefa competitions – suspended for a period of two years.

Rangers crashed to a humiliating 6-0 defeat over in Belgium and were dumped out of the competition with a 9-1 scoreline on aggregate.

And that display has now punished the club, with the suspended away fan ban now implemented.
A Uefa spokesman, revealing details of the sanctions, said they had decided “To fine Rangers FC €20,000 and to ban Rangers FC from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one Uefa competition match, for lighting of fireworks.
