RANGERS slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Genk in their Europa League opener at Ibrox.
Former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu pounced in the second half to complete his dream of finally netting a goal at Ibrox.

Rangers had to play the full second half and more with 10 men after Mohamed Diomande was shown a red card for a dangerous lunge just before half-time.
But the Light Blues failed to create many chances before his dismissal and were even less structured after Diomande was given his marching orders.
Here’s how our man Kenny MacDonald rated the Rangers players after another disappointing performance.
Jack Butland – 7
Great diving save to his right to deny Oh from the spot in first-half stoppage time then great double stop from Medina and Hrosovsky soon after the re-start before being beaten by Oh’s drive. Once again Rangers’ best man.

James Tavernier – 6
Thought he’d earned his side a first-half penalty but after a VAR check, ref decided he’d been guilty of a push going for Diomande’s cross, then another VAR check saw him concede the penalty for Genk goal.
John Souttar – 5
Only outfield player who’s started all seven Rangers’ European games but had a tough night as Genk found spaces galore in midfield areas. Got little protection from a weak midfield.
Derek Cornelius – 5
European debutant was always happy to accept the ball and try to build but was repeatedly caught out of position as Genk targeted the heart of Rangers’ backline. Distribution erratic. Subbed.
Jayden Meghoma – 4
Woeful positioning allowed Steuckers to set Oh up for a first-half chance he blazed over. Youngster never looks like he has the defensive discipline or awareness required.
Mohamed Diomande – 3
Had been doing a solid and energetic midfield shift – mostly tracking back – then a stupid lunge on El Ouahdi five minutes before the break saw him correctly red-carded by the Slovenian referee.
Thelo Aasgaard – 6
Norwegian has quick feet and showed some nice touches but he blasted a decent opportunity over the top early in the second-half. But he’s at least always willing and available. Subbed.
Nico Raskin – 5
Had a hug for Belgium international team-mate Bryan Heynen before kick-off but made no impression at all against his countrymen. Seldom got on the ball and well-policed by Hrosovsky.
Mikey Moore – 5
Spurs loanee sent an early snapshot over then immediately drove narrowly wide but was too often guilty of squandering possession and stayed inside at the break.
Youssef Chermiti – 5
Difficult to judge the £10m signing on his first start. Spent a frustrating evening starved of service, and was loose with possession when he was involved. Surprising he got as long as he did.
Djeidi Gassama- 5
Flattened by a second-half tackle by Sadick but didn’t provide the penetration or imagination he has previously. One second-half shot wide was about it. Booked for ridiculous dive.
Subs: Oliver Antman (Moore 46) Winger got second-half run-out but created little 3; Joe Rothwell (Cornelius 79) Chased shadows as Genk used extra man to good effect 2; Connor Barron (Aasgaard 79) Made a few tackles, saw drive blocked by Smets 4; Bojan Miovski (Chermiti 79) Thankless task as Genk passed the ball around him 2.
