CELTIC and Rangers are set to face Roma in the Europa League with no away fans in Glasgow, with UEFA ready to throw the book at the Italian giants.
Both the Old Firm clubs are due to host the Serie A side in the Europa League this season within a month – with Roma due at Ibrox in November and Parkhead the following month.
But Roma are set to be banned from having any away fans at both of the games after riots this week in France for their game at Nice.
French police made over 100 arrests and 13 of them are due in court in November and face charges that could see them get up to a five-year prison sentence.
Police were attacked by Roma fans amid ugly scenes in the French city and at the stadium and the local police later confirmed they had confiscated knives, rocks, knuckle dusters and hammers.
And reports in Italy have suggested the club have already accepted they will be banned from accepting any tickets for their three remaining away matches in the Europa League – against Rangers, Celtic and Panathinaikos.
