PETER LOVENKRANDS regularly had Rangers fans dancing on the ceilings with his exploits.
But now, the former Ibrox forward himself has been busting a move for real on one of the planet’s biggest TV shows.
Lovenkrands, 45, is one of the celebrities competing in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing in Denmark.
The 25th series of the Danish show, called Vild Med Dans, kicked-off this weekend and the former Rangers ace strutted his stuff in front of millions of viewers around his home country.
Paired with professional dancer Jenna August Harson, Lovenkrands was thrust into the limelight with a jive on week one.
Lovenkrands danced to Little Richard’s 1958 hit “Good Golly, Miss Molly.”

And it’s fair to say the 1950s inspired performance caught the attention of Lovenkrands’ pals back in Scotland and beyond!
The SPL title winner threw himself right into it, with a highly energetic performance that even included what appeared to be push-ups mid routine!
His wife Teresa and daughters Sophie and Chloe were there in the studio to cheer him on.
Lovenkrands received a score of 10 from the three judges, placing him seventh in what is a rather tight leaderboard!
While that may not have been the sort of grand total he might’ve been hoping for, his dancing exploits certainly caught the attention of some former teammates!
A video of Lovenkrands’ dancing was shared on his social media and ex-Gers stars flocked to the comments section.
Arthur Numan said: “Haha brilliant. Never expected that!”
Steven Thompson added: “Peter. That was exceptional. Well done.”
Former Ibrox star Martyn Waghorn was also suitably thrilled – and he couldn’t help but notice some similarities to Lovenkrands’ dramatic header winner in the 2002 Scottish Cup Final against Celtic.
Waghorn said: “Congrats mate. Love that.
“I remember a few of those moves! #finalheader”
Rangers-daft singer Callum Beattie added: “We love you @plovenkrands11 unbelievable”
