Mac Allister went down with a head injury following an accidental collision with team-mate Virgil van Dijk in the lead-up to Man Utd‘s controversial first goal.
The Red Devils didn’t wait around for the whistle and Bryan Mbeumo bagged in front of The Kop inside just 62 seconds.
Mac Allister received treatment for a lengthy period after the goal and returned to the pitch wearing some protective headgear.
