MOHAMED SALAH is losing his mojo and could be gone from Liverpool as soon as JANUARY.
That’s the view of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney who’s been speaking about the Egyptian forward’s struggles in Arne Slot’s wobbly team.
The Liverpool winger was last year’s Player of the Season, making a total of 47 goal contributions in the Premier League, but Rooney believes the constant success has ‘caught up with him.’
The ex-England international expressed his opinion on BBC’s Wayne Rooney Show: “I just think Salah has played a lot of games over the last few years, and he’s been the main man, and he’s carried that pressure.
“And you’re probably in the top five great Premier League players, in my opinion. I think it looked like it maybe caught up a little bit with him.“
Rooney went on to predict that Salah may leave Liverpool – who have lost their last four games – by the next transfer window.

Manchester United’s all-time leading scorer reflected on the end of his time at Old Trafford, believing the same could happen for Salah: “It wouldn’t surprise me if in January, or maybe next summer, if he does leave the club.
“Sometimes you don’t want to admit it but the next thing you know, you’re gone.”
After 13 years at United, Rooney returned to his boyhood club Everton in the summer transfer window of 2017.
Despite Salah being recognised as one of Liverpool’s top players, things could quickly turn for the Egyptian due to a downgrade in form.
The 33-year-old has netted just three goals in 11 appearances so far this term.
Rooney does not think Salah is totally to blame for failing to meet his own exceptional standards.
Especially with two major signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz still adapting to the team.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure for Real Madrid has had a major impact according to Rooney.
The Ex-Plymouth manager said: “I think they’ve got a bit complacent… I think they’re missing Trent enormously.”
