The Motions Unlimited Xcel Gold gymnastics team has launched its season with a major victory, securing first place in the Small Team Division at the Fall Gasparilla Classic in Florida for their first competition of the season.
The victory was powered by strong individual performances across the roster in all four all-around events – vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
Teana Biertumpel led the squad after posting a 35.125 all-around score. She finished sixth overall in the individual rankings, delivering standout scores particularly on the vault and floor exercises.
Following closely behind was Paige Bernstein with a 35.000 all-around performance.
Victoria Bain earned a 34.475 all-around total, highlighted by a second-place finish on vault.
Brooke Bernstein achieved a 33.625 all-around with top-10 finishes on both the balance beam and floor with Apollonia Sergides completing the team effort with a 31.900 all-around score.
