LIVERPOOL are on a worse run than any other club in Europe’s top five leagues with Arne Slot now third-favourite manager to be sacked in the Premier League.
The Reds’ dismal run continued as they were thrashed 3-0 at home by Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
Liverpool were run ragged at Anfield as they also had a man sent off.
They have now lost six of their last seven matches.
And no other side in Europe’s top five leagues has suffered more defeats in that time frame.
Slot is now third-favourite in the league to lose his job behind Wolves’ Vitor Pereira and West Ham’s Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Dutchman appears to be struggling to find a response amid Liverpool’s horror form.
And he even skipped yesterday’s pre-match press conference as the pressure heats up.
Wednesday’s defeat to Palace also marked the first time Liverpool had lost a domestic cup match at Anfield by three goals without scoring since February 1934.
Back then, they lost 3-0 to Bolton in the FA Cup.

And Palace’s blitz was a stark reminder of Liverpool’s current woes on the field.
The Reds are the defending Premier League champions.
And following a mega summer of spending, their dramatic loss of form has left fans and pundits shocked.
But Liverpool will be desperate to avoid repeating more history.
Back in September 1953, they lost five consecutive games against English opponents.
That run saw them end up being RELEGATED from the top flight.
However, Wolves also won the First Division that season.
And with the Molineux club currently rooted to the bottom of the Prem without a single win, that curse is unlikely to repeat itself.
Jamie Redknapp tears into Arne Slot
FORMER Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp didn’t hold back when speaking on Sky Sports after the game.
He ranted: “He (Slot) said, ‘That was a choice I made, that was the team I picked,’ but he picked the wrong team. Make no mistake about it.
“You asked me beforehand and I said, ‘He’s really made it difficult for himself tonight, picking that team.’
“He has not helped the young players there, because of the team and the players around them.
“He made ten changes from the weekend against Brentford. You can’t tell me he’s picked that team today and those subs, thinking, ‘That’ll get me a result against a really good Crystal Palace side.’
“You might hope you can, but I did not think for one second they could beat them and he has made a mistake today.”
Redknapp continued: “It’s not just the defence, it’s not just the midfield, it’s everything right now. They have got to show some character. They’ve got some really tough games ahead.
“I haven’t said this very often about Arne Slot, because I think he’s been sensational, but today was a big mistake. You can’t tell me that side was ever going to be capable of beating a really strong Crystal Palace side.”
