A 34-member Grenada National Swim Team is set and ready to contend the 33rd OECS Swim Championship at the Drewsbury Aquatic Centre in St Vincent.

Under the direction of Head Coach Damique Walters and Assistant Coach Valorie Andrew, the team has engaged in a rigorous training regimen in preparation to compete. With many first-time competitors at OECS, great emphasis is being placed on ensuring our swimmers focus on technique development with a view to improving their skill level, ultimately to improve their competitive level.
Team Grenada continues to focus on regaining the OECS Championship title, which has evaded Grenada over the past 3 years. Our team, normally supported by overseas-based swimmers, will unfortunately not have the presence of Tilly Collymore, Sara Dowden, Gabrielle Hyson, or Jenebi Benoit this year. However, team members are energised and focused with their eyes on the prize to compete to regain the OECS title.
Team Grenada departs for St Vincent on 5 and 6 November. The 2025 team will be managed by Ruth Collymore and ably supported by team officials: Vice President Gail Purcell, PRO Beverly Benoit, and Technical Assistant Justin Steele. A strong contingent of parent supporters will also accompany the team to ensure the Grenadian spirit is alive and well, to provide support to Team Grenada.
The public is encouraged to follow the championship on the live stream on Facebook and YouTube at OECS Swimming, and GASA will give regular updates on its Facebook and Instagram pages.
