AN ex-TV pundit told of her pride as her son won his first Scotland cap at Murrayfield — 24 years after she was snapped there while pregnant with him.
Woody Morris, 54, was weeks away from giving birth to her lad Harri when she took part in a promotional shoot for Scotsport’s Rugby Roundup show.

And yesterday the proud mother returned to the Edinburgh stadium to cheer the talented forward, who came on as a sub in the 62nd minute during the national team’s 85-0 triumph over the USA.
Now a mum of three, Woody recalled posing in a Scotland top with legends Sean Lineen, now 63, and Scott Hastings, 60.
The ex-presenter, then known as Kathleen Wood, said: “We always joked, even when Harri was in my tummy, that he’d play rugby for Scotland one day. It’s a huge honour.
“When he got the call-up, it was hugely emotional.

“We were so proud to see Harri run onto the pitch to represent his country — it’s a really special moment for all of us as a family. Dreams really come true if you really believe, have the grit, determination and work hard.”
Woody told how she made sure her child would qualify to play for her native land.
She explained: “When I was due to give birth to Harri, we were living in London and I didn’t want an English-born baby.
“So I flew home across the border at 41 weeks, which you’re not meant to do, just so he could be born in Scotland. I had him in Edinburgh and he was at Murrayfield a week later. Harri even appeared on the show a week after that.
“When we lived down south I was always passionate about making sure everyone knew he was Scottish. When any rugby games were on, I’d drape the Saltire outside the window. It’s surreal that all these years later he’s playing for his country.”
The Edinburgh Rugby hooker’s debut came despite Welsh dad Phil, 56, giving him the middle names Edwards and John — after two of the Wales rugby team’s greatest stars, Gareth Edwards and Barry John.
Woody — also mum to Molly, 22, and Archie, 19 — runs a farm in Selkirk with Phil. The couple met while both were playing rugby in Hong Kong.
She added: “The sport is such a great leveller, it doesn’t matter what your background is. Harri has put so much dedication into the game.
“I’m so proud of him for not giving up.”
