A top SPFL football star had to wait almost TEN HOURS for an ambulance after suffering a horror injury.
Queen’s Park hero Charlie Fox was stretchered-off during the first half of his side’s clash at Partick Thistle but subsequently endured an almighty wait.

Defender Fox, 26, has become a hugely popular player and mainstay of the Queen’s Park side since joining the club in 2021.
He started as the Spiders took on Partick Thistle in a Glasgow derby clash on Saturday.
With Queen’s Park already trailing 1-0, play was stopped just before the half-hour mark with Fox suffering what appeared to be a serious knee injury.
He was in clear discomfort, with medics, teammates and opposition players rushing to his aid.

Fox was stretchered-off after lengthy treatment and a hefty chunk of time was added on in the first half.
Partick Thistle would go on to make it 2-0 in the 13th minute of additional time.
While Queen’s Park would go on to suffer a heavy 5-0 defeat, it was the injury to Fox that was on the forefront of head coach Sean Crighton’s mind after the game.
Fox missed almost the entirety of last season after a previous serious knee injury.
After the game, Crighton said: “I went and saw Charlie and he’s naturally devastated but the character of the guy he’s actually more gutted for me and the club than himself.
“It was a really sore result, sore performance and a sore day for Charlie.
“It’s his other knee. The first diagnoses is it could be a dislocation, we’re not 100 percent sure, he’s in a lot of pain.
“It’s a devastating day for everybody. We need to rally round Charlie, get a reaction next week as it’s about doing it for him.”
SunSport understands that after the injury, Fox endured an extremely lengthy wait for an ambulance.
It’s understood that an ambulance didn’t arrive until 1am – nearly 10 hours after Fox suffered the injury on the pitch.
The defender remained at Firhill Stadium the entire time.
Speaking to the club’s TV channel after the game from the stadium, boss Crighton acknowledged that Fox was “still here” at the time and that “the ambulance still hasn’t come and got him yet.”
SunSport have contacted both Queen’s Park FC and the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
