HEARTS chief executive Andrew McKinlay is set to land a plum SFA vice-presidency role alongside Hampden supremo Mike Mulraney.
SunSport understands the 55-year-old’s key appointment is expected to be pushed through by the association with all clubs to be informed of him being the preferred candidate.

Ex-Hamilton Accies chief Les Gray recently announced his desire to step down as VP after two years due to family reasons.
Former lawyer McKinlay left the SFA in 2018 after six years to become Scottish Golf chief executive. He then joined Hearts as CEO in 2020.
McKinlay was appointed to the SFA Board in 2023 alongside Aileen Campbell of Scottish Women’s Football as representatives of the professional and non-professional game boards.
Ex-Alloa chairman Mulraney, elected to the top SFA position in June, 2023, has firm views and ambitious plans for the way ahead for the Hampden body – and is a big admirer of McKinlay who will continue in his prime Hearts role.
