MIDDLESBROUGH have cancelled a Rob Edwards press conference amid speculation linking him to managerless Wolves.
SunSport understands that Edwards, 42, has now entered crunch talks with his former club and is pushing for the move.

It was revealed yesterday that the Championship club had made efforts to block a potential move for the former Luton boss by rejecting an initial approach.
They are flying high in third place in the Championship this season, just five points off the top spot, and want Edwards to stay.
But Wolves have made him their priority target for the managerial role at the club after original choice Gary O’Neil pulled out of the running earlier this week.
Sunsport understands there is NO release clause in his current contract – with Boro due a cool £3m in compensation should he demand to leave.
