CAM CRABTREE has claimed he was sacked by a former employer because he was “away too often for darts.”
The 23-year-old finally achieved his dream of earning his PDC card earlier this year.

And last month, the Londoner secured qualification for the Grand Slam of Darts.
Crabtree announced himself to the world by kicking off his tournament with a 5-1 win over Jonny Clayton on Saturday.
‘Shazam’ reflected on his journey after his group stage win and revealed to reporters that Abercrombie and Fitch gave him the boot because he was too devoted to his dream of becoming a professional darts player.
When asked what he’d be doing if he wasn’t playing darts, he replied: “I worked in Abercrombie for a bit and then the sacked me because I was away too often for darts.
