SCOTLAND are on the brink of history as they gear up for a massive World Cup qualifier against Greece in Athens.
Steve Clarke’s men have been in sensational form throughout their Group C campaign, and after a hard-fought win over the Greeks at Hampden last month, they now stand just two games away from booking their place at the 2026 World Cup in North America.

The Tartan Army will travel in their thousands to the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium — the intimidating home of Olympiacos — where Clarke’s side will face a Greek team playing only for pride after crashing out of qualification contention.
Scotland go into the clash level on points with Denmark at the top of Group C, with both sides locked in a straight fight for the automatic qualification spot.
Clarke’s men are already guaranteed a play-off, but finishing first would seal a World Cup place outright — and that’s the target.
And after going unbeaten in their first four games in the group, the Scots have every reason to believe they can take another giant step toward the world’s biggest stage.
