BEAU GREAVES has hit out at all the HYPE around her getting a Premier League place.
The double Women’s Matchplay winner won her final Grand Slam group clash by beating Niko Springer 5-3 in Wolverhampton last night.
But Greaves, 21, admitted she was fed up with all the sudden talk of her getting a spot in the prestigious PL.
Raymond van Barneveld revealed to SunSport last week he felt she’d get a place but Gerwyn Price branded suggestions of her being selected as “a joke”.
She said: “I just feel confident with my game. I just want to get through it.
“After my tour card, I want to look forward to it. I don’t really like the hype around all of it.

“I don’t really want people talking about me. I just want to get on with it.
“I don’t need other people telling me I’m not ready, I know that. I know I’m not ready for the big leagues.
“That’s just down to me and my family to get through, no one else. Just play and enjoy.”
Greaves pushed legends Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson all the way in her opening two group matches, losing both 5-4.

She finally got a win as Springer surprisingly reacted to fans who were giving him stick.
Greaves added: “It’s been a weird tournament, I played well in the first two games. It’s always nice to finish on a win and go out of the tournament on a high.
“It’s been positive, I will take confidence from it and move on.
“There’s a lot to take from it. I’ve thrown some good darts, I’ve just had bad timing.”
