A FORMER New England Patriots star has struck up a relationship with one of the bombshells of Love Island Australia.
Jotham Russell, an international NFL talent, is partnered with Gabby McCarthy on Love Island.
Russell spent time playing rugby in Australia before making the switch to football.
After sending his film to NFL scouts, he was accepted into the NFL Australia camp and was chosen as one of 16 players for the International Player Pathway Program.
Russell wasn’t selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots.
He had a successful tryout at defensive end at rookie minicamp, but was eventually waived and re-signed to the practice squad.
Russell never appeared in an NFL game, and is now competing as a contestant on the seventh season of Love Island Australia.
And it appears he has already scored, sparking up a romance with the 21-year-old influencer McCarthy.
McCarthy has been described as having the “biggest ever boobs,” and shared her pride for them during her introduction on the show.
“My name is Gabby, I’m 21 years old and I’m from the Gold Coast,” she said.

McCarthy boasts a whopping 34G cup size, and hasn’t been shy about flaunting them with Russell.
In one Love Island challenge, she appeared to sit atop Russell and bury his face in them during the raunchy segment.
