NICOLAS JACKSON will stay at Bayern Munich on loan until the end of the season.
That’s according to German newspaper BILD, who also report that Bayern have “little reason to believe” they will pay the £54million fee to sign him on a permanent basis.
The news came in response to reports that he could make a return to the Premier League as early as January, with Everton interested.
Chelsea signed Joao Pedro from Brighton for £60m and Liam Delap from Ipswich for £30m in the summer, with both impressing in their Club World Cup triumph in the United States.
It led them to believe that Jackson would be surplus to requirements, so he was sent to Bayern in a record-breaking £13 million loan deal on September 1.
In one of the most complicated transfer sagas of recent years, the Blues tried to revoke permission for Jackson to complete his medical with Munich despite him being on his way there and a move having been agreed.

It came after Delap pulled up in the West London derby against Fulham at the end of August and was ruled out for two months.
Jackson was reportedly left angry that Chelsea tried to recall him and was determined to push through his move to Bayern, which in the end happened.

Delap has only just recently returned from two months out, and over the weekend both Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto had to be substituted against Wolves due to injury.
On top of that, star man Cole Palmer hasn’t played for nearly two months due to a groin injury.
Jackson has only started five games in all competitions for Bayern this season, scoring two goals in 12 appearances.
Playing second fiddle to Harry Kane, who is in the form of his life having netted 23 times in 17 games for Bayern so far, Jackson has been largely coming on as a sub.
The ankle injury that Jamal Musiala sustained against PSG in the Club World Cup will keep him out until the end of the year, which has led to manager Vincent Kompany trying different things in attack.
The Belgian boss has at times used Kane in the No10 position, which meant that Jackson has had opportunities to lead the line for the form team in Europe so far this term.
Jackson started last month’s 2-1 win at home to Borussia Dortmund, with Kane playing in behind him.
After playing the game in the No10 role, Kane told German TV channel Sport1 after the game: “That was perhaps one of the best games of my career.”
Bayern have played 17 games, won 16 and drawn one. This included a 2-1 win away to European Champions PSG, where former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz scored both goals before being sent off.
Diaz’s three-match suspension could open the door for Jackson to play in Bayern’s upcoming Champions League fixtures against Arsenal, Sporting Lisbon and Union Saint-Gilloise.
