THRILLED President Donald Trump beamed with pride as the New Course at Trump International Scotland was hailed as the best golf course on the planet.
The luxury venue at Menie, Aberdeenshire, landed a hat-trick of gongs from a judging panel of World Golf Awards experts – including the best course of 2025.
The golf-daft US leader, 79, took a break from his war with the BBC and the fall-out from the release of the latest Epstein Files to pose with the prestigious accolade.
And he lavished praise on son Eric, 41, for his leading Trump Organization role at the new 18-hole links course following its opening in July.
President Trump said: “A great honour to win such a prestigious award from the highly respected World Golf Awards.
“I am very proud of the job that Eric Trump and my team did on building one of the greatest golf courses anywhere in the world.

“It will make people happy for a long time to come.”
Trump cut the ribbon on the course during a summer ceremony alongside sons Eric and Donald Jnr, 47, as well as Sarah Malone, executive vice president of Trump International, Scotland.
She added: “To be named the World’s Best is the ultimate honour.”
The course was also named World’s Best Contribution to Golf Tourism Hospitality and Europe’s Best New Golf Course 2025.
We told last month how the President faced calls to pay the £24million taxpayer–funded policing bill for his and his No2’s summer jaunts to Scotland.
His four-day trip in July cost more than £21million and Vice-President JD Vance’s trip to Ayrshire set Police Scotland back more than £3million.
The combined total is nearly five times the £5millon deficit that led to top brass halting recruitment last year.
The UK Government said at the time: “These were private visits by the President and Vice-President, not official UK Government business. The Scottish Government is responsible for policing costs in Scotland.”
Eric said of the gong haul: “We are incredibly proud and truly honoured to be awarded three top World Golf Awards and to be named World’s Best Golf Course for our magnificent New Course in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
“From the outset, this property has been a labour of love.
“We have built the greatest 36 holes along the spectacular North Sea shoreline and are immensely grateful to World Golf Awards and all those who have supported us.”
The awards come despite the fact Trump International Golf Links made a loss for the 13th year in a row.
Turnover jumped by 22 per cent to £4.48million and it made a gross profit of more than £1.25million. But it reported a total loss of £937,693 – down from £1.4million previously.
