RANGERS boss Danny Rohl is planning TWO new additions to his coaching team as he gets his feet under the desk at Auchenhowie.
Despite wounding defeats to Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final and Brann and Roma in the Europa League, it’s generally been a positive start for the German coach in the Ibrox hotseat with three straight league wins.

But there’s no shortage of work to be done and now the Rangers Review reports that he’s set to add a couple of new coaches, one of whom will be a set piece coach.
To date, Rohl has brought performance manager Sascha Lense and assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach in with him.
They claim he’s keen to add a specialist set piece coach to his ranks, after Mike Williamson – who previously filled that remit under Russell Martin’s short-lived tenure – departed the club along with assistant boss Matt Gill.
The club have been criticised for their ability to score – and prevent goals – from set pieces in recent seasons so the addition of a specialist in this area is seen as a major area of potenital improvement.

It’s also thought that Rohl will add a Scottish coach with Rangers connections to his backroom team, with the likes of Neil McCann, Steven Davis and Steven Smith names which have been under consideration.
Rohl also has goalkeeper coach Sal Bibbo and performance coach Rhys Owen on his backroom team.
After a crucial bit of time to refocus during international week, Rohl’s men return to Premiership action against Livingston next weekend before the Europa League visit of Braga.
Gordon Strachan, meanwhile, reckons Rangers can re-emerge as a threat under Danny Rohl.
The Gers had one of their worst starts to a season under Russell Martin before he was ousted and replaced by the ex-Sheffield Wednesday boss.
He said: “They will get better with Danny Rohl, because I’ve seen his work at Sheffield Wednesday.
“I like the way he goes about his job. The young German coaches at the moment are big things in European football.
“I spoke to Barry Bannan about him because I still speak to Barry.
“Barry thinks he’s a top, top coach. Now, if you get that from a really good player, you know what you’re dealing with here.
“So I think it’s been a great move for them. And would you say it was based on possession football?
“No, it’s based on trying to win games of football, trying to get the ball forward.”
