NACHO NOVO got his Darvel reign off to a flier as he took charge of his first game as manager in Scotland on Saturday.
We told you first how the Rangers hero had landed his first managerial job in Scottish football.

He was named the new head coach of the seventh-tier club on Sunday and took a training session with his Darvel players just across the road from Ibrox a few days later.
The Ibrox icon left his his coaching role at West of Scotland Premier Division side Drumchapel United to take up the job in the league below.
And this afternoon he took charge of his first game in the Scottish lower leagues.
He couldn’t have asked for a better start to his reign as Novo watched his Darvel team score SIX in a league clash against Ardrossan Winton Rovers.

Darvel won the match 6-0, only their third win of the league season.
The Vale have endured a difficult start to the season having only won two of their first 10 games in the seventh-tier before Novo took over.
Darvel now sit in 12th place and seven places behind Ardrossan in the table.
But it was Novo’s side on top as Ross Barbour, Scott Lewis, Danny Burns (2), Reece McGuire and Tom Sneddon all scored.
The huge win came less than 24 hours after Novo made a stunning return to the pitch himself.
He was involved in the Masters tournament in Aberdeen last night as he lined up for the Rangers Legends team.
It was Aberdeen who came out on top in the tournament, though, but Novo would have enjoyed beating his old rivals Celtic 6-1.
Also in the Rangers team included Bruno Alves, Pedro Mendes, Cammy Bell, Lee McCulloch, Barry Ferguson, Maurice Ross and Martyn Waghorn.
