CONOR BENN got his dream revenge win over Chris Eubank Jr with a snoozefest points win.
The pair shared a sensational £20million war last April and could not recapture that magic or passion in the rerun.
The Spurs crowd booed for most of the bout until the final seconds when Benn landed two knockdowns and guaranteed the decision.
It was almost identical to their fathers’ rivalry, when 35 years ago they put on an epic that Eubank Sr won by iconic TKO.
And three years later they could only go the distance in a much tamer affair that was scored a draw.
But Benn pulled one back with a much more measured approach, convincing the judges to call it: 119-107, 116-110 and 118-108.

RING FALL

Despite the doping scandal that delayed the 2022 original and will forever plague Benn, the Tottenham crowd booed Eubank’s fur-coated Dr Dre entrance.
They went wild though when hip-hop rap legend 50 Cent appeared from the ether to sing father and son to the bearpit with a medley of his biggest bangers.
Benn took the centre of the ring and landed the first few jabs.
The 29-year-old also whipped a right hook into Eubank’s ribs.

But the first stiff right hand to the head came from the Brighton man, as he tagged Benn with an arrow down the pipe.
Benn tried to box with more composure and skill than in the original but that allowed Eubank to pick him off a couple of times in the second.
Benn scored with a one-two but was then bundled to the canvas
The Ilford West Ham fan then did some good work to Eubank’s body and even tried to clip him just after the bell had gone.
The third was cagey until Benn missed with a wild haymaker at the halfway point.
Eubank then landed his best early shots, an uppercut with his back to the ropes and a left hook.
But Benn had proven his chin in the first encounter and never showed signs of damage from the digs.
Benn won the fourth with two meaty right hands, the second of which Eubank smiled off and shook his head.
But the Hove veteran was struggling to get going and Benn was finding a steady rhythm that could prove difficult to break.
The fifth was genuinely dull until the last 20 seconds when Benn unleashed a flurry of punches. One of them landed but, again, Eubank broke out a cheesy grin to deny being buzzed by the contact.
Eubank hit the deck in the sixth but it was a clumsy stumble, the crowd at least launched a sarcastic jeer as the boxing action – or lack of it – had silenced them.
The seventh threatened to be fiery but it was luke-warm until the final 10 seconds.
Benn walked Eubank down, backed him onto the ropes and cracked him with a superb one-two.
Eubank’s head snapped back and forth and Benn snarled and roared at him like a man who knew he was grabbing revenge with both hands.
Eubank was a shell of a fighter, powerless and feeble in almost every exchange.
Benn knocked his gumshield out with 75 seconds left as the smaller man continued to run away with the scores.
Right at the end of the session, the crowd began too boo but that sparked Eubank to launch his first eye-catching attack.
Benn was clipped by two rasping right hands that had him backpedalling for the first time.
Weight-drained Eubank could not capitalise, though, and his utter lack of energy or enthusiasm allowed Benn to grab control back in the ninth and secure another session.
Fans around the press box were checking their dating profiles by the time of the tenth and whistles and boos rang out.
Benn kept cool and landed the only few flush punches, they didn’t hurt Eubank but the judges could not miss them.
The eleventh was slipping by until Eubank tumbled over into the ropes again. And that was the highlight of three minutes of boxing.
And Benn secured it when he dropped a decimated Eubank twice in the final few seconds to get one back for the family.
Benn was enjoying the energy after the win, exclaiming: “I got one on you Nige!”
When asked about a decider between him and Eubank he was less excitable, shutting the question down and confirming that this would be the duo’s last fight.
He said: “This is the end of the Benn Eubank saga, this ends here.
“Everyone who says I can’t box, put that in your pipe and smoke it.”

Eubank was gracious despite the surely heartbreaking nature of the defeat, saying: “I have been through hell and back to get here and I tried my best.
“The kid fought hard and tough, congrats to him.”
