JAKE PAUL’S promotional manager has boldly claimed that his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua is “more winnable” than his proposed bout with Gervonta Davis.
The 28-year-old was due to fight Davis earlier this month, but the event was called off after domestic abuse allegations were made against ‘Tank’.
His promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, made a promise that he would still headline a major fight on Netflix before the end of 2025.
And on Monday, it was announced that he would take on two-time heavyweight world champion Joshua in a blockbuster Miami clash.
The bout will take place on December 19 at Kaseya Center – the home of the Miami Heat.
It will also be available to stream on Netflix at no extra cost to subscribers.

NO JOSHING?
Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul CONFIRMED for fight in £100M Netflix showdown
YouTuber and social media star Paul faces his biggest challenge in the ring to date against AJ next month.
However, his promotional partner, Nakisa Bidarian, believes it is more “winnable” for him than a fight against Davis.
“It’s an incredible day. Jake thought of this in March of this year and said: ‘I want to fight Anthony Joshua.’
“People laughed then. I was here at Sky Sports in July, the question was asked, ‘Do you see this happening?’ And our plan was to do this in March or April of 2026.

“Plans changed and Jake stood up and said: ‘I want to face Joshua now.’
“I think it was fitting. Jake just had the biggest event in history last year in terms of streaming viewership – 125million viewers. Joshua has been out for a year and a half.”
“This is a more dangerous fight (for Jake) than Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis but it’s a more winnable fight than Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.
“Gervonta was small, fast, super skilled. Joshua is big, a heavy puncher but not as evasive.
“So I think if Jake has the right game plan he has a pretty good shot at winning this fight.”
Bidarian went on to add: “You have to look at the experience Jake has gained in the five years he’s been in the sport.
“To be in your 12th or 13th fight, in front of 80,000 people at AT&T Stadium in front of 125million viewers, that’s not experience you can gain normally.
Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua: All the information you need.
“So he is going to go into that event very calm and very composed and I fully believe that he does 100 per cent think he is going to beat Anthony Joshua.
“I would say it’s much less of a mismatch than what you saw with AJ and Francis Ngannou, who is a massive man but with relatively no boxing experience.
“I would say it’s much less of a mismatch than AJ’s ninth or 10th fight against guys who have been knocked out 20 to 25 times.
“Given AJ’s pedigree, Jake is built for this. Jake is built for the big moments.
