MANCHESTER CITY are reportedly considering a move to trigger Antoine Semenyo’s Bournemouth release clause.
Pep Guardiola could be ready to meet the £65million price tag it would take to get him out of the Cherries in January – and ease the goalscoring burden on superstar striker Erling Haaland.

The Times reports that City are one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on Semenyo’s situation.
The winger could leave his current club in the coming weeks when the wheeling and dealing of the winter window begins on New Year’s Day.
Premier League champions Liverpool – who splashed huge numbers on new recruits during the summer – have also been linked with a swoop.
Bournemouth paid £10m in January 2023 to land his services from Bristol City and now they could be ready to bank a huge return on that investment.

He’s been a key man under Andoni Iraola with six goals and three assists to date in the EPL.
The publication state City are ‘not fully committed to making a move’ – but there is a feeling that bringing him on board in January could help them chase down league leaders Arsenal.
A move for Semenyo would also bring versatility, with his ease at playing across the front line.
Speaking after the last-gasp win over Leeds about star man Haaland, Guardiola said: “He’ll do it [get his 100th goal] next game. Just we talk about rest.

“He has a huge body. Minutes, minutes, in that moment you’re fresh.
“Rest [is] not just the legs [pointing to his head]. It’s not like Phil or Jeremy; they can rest.
“Erling is a big man. We need him so much.”
It is a quick turnaround for City as they return to action on Tuesday.
They travel to face Fulham off the back of the five-goal thriller at the Etihad as they look to keep the pressure on at the top.
The big games keep coming thick and fast with newly promoted high-flyers Sunderland visiting Pep and Co next weekend before a massive Champions League away day at Real Madrid.
