Horse Road To Paris unseated the jockey as he crashed into Ammirati – who went on to win the race in remarkable scenes.
Tulsa King landed the runners-up spot in the Wellington Stakes while Landman was third in a close finish.
Dylan Johnson – the stable representative and bloodstock manager of trainer Steve Marsh – delivered his reaction to the victory.

“It was a good performance from the horse.
“He was under a bit of pressure from the 600 metres but he just kept finding and he was actually starting to pick the favourite up in that last little bit before everything happened.
“It’s an unusual way to win the race but it will go in the book.”
