STEVEN GERRARD remains the last Rangers manager to lift the Premiership title with the Ibrox club.
And now the Gers hero has been linked with a return to another of his former sides.

Gerrard became the frontrunner for a shock return as Rangers manager when Russell Martin was sacked in October.
He even flew to London to meet chairman Andrew Cavenagh and vice-chairman Paraag Marathe.
But the 45-year-old revealed that ‘the timing wasn’t perfect’ for a return, despite the move being ‘very close’.
And now the legendary former midfielder has been tipped to take over at another club where he’s considered a legend.

That’s as DaveOCKOP reports that Gerrard is under ‘serious consideration’ to become interim Liverpool manager if Arne Slot is sacked.
The Dutchman won the Premier League title in his debut season at the club last term, but a stretch of terrible form this campaign has left the champions in eighth place.
And the pressure cranked up on Slot yesterday when club legend Mohamed Salah revealed his relationship with the Reds boss has broken down.
In a sensational interview, Salah said: “I said many times before I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden we don’t have any relationship. I don’t know why.
“I’m very, very disappointed. I have done so much for this club.
“Everybody can see that during the years and especially last season.
“It seems like the club is throwing me under the bus. That’s how I feel.
“It’s very clear that someone wants me to get all the blame.”
If Slot is relieved of his duties, it’s understood that both Gerrard and current Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann are admired by Liverpool.
Gerrard’s last management gig was in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq, which he left in January.
His previous job in the English top flight was a year in charge of Aston Villa.
