Xanden Hobson slammed a top score of 96 off just 30 balls to lead TG Welding & Fab Underdogs to a pulsating six-wicket victory over Buck and Sons Buckleys 3Jays in the Bullets Hundred Ball competition at Powells.
Chasing a target of 127, Hobson dominated the Buckleys’ bowling attack with a strike rate of 320.00, smashing seven fours and ten sixes. His innings was the cornerstone of the Underdogs’ successful chase, which they completed in just 65 balls, finishing on 132 for four.
Earlier, Buck and Sons Buckleys 3Jays posted 126 for six in their allotted 100 balls after winning the toss and electing to bat. Kadeem Henry cracked 39 off 16 balls, while Owen Graham made a patient 20.
The Underdogs’ bowling attack was led by Emroy Lee, who claimed two wickets, while Hughon Tonge, Jayden Charles, and Malique Jacobs each picked up one wicket to restrict the Buckleys batting lineup.
