FAMOUS biathlete Sivert Guttorm Bakken and Winter Olympics hopeful was found dead at the age of 27.
Bakken’s sad passing was confirmed by the International Biathlon Union on Tuesday.

According to Reuters, the Norwegian star was found dead in his hotel room – three years after battling with myocarditis.
The biathlete was staying in Lavaze in the Italian Alps where he had been attending a training camp the last few days.
That was while he was vying for a place on Norway’s squad for the Winter Olympics in February.
Bakken claimed his first and only individual Biathlon World Cup victory at Holmenkollen in 2022.
