LAURA WOODS branded Richard Keys a “t***” after his tribute to Gabby Logan’s late father Terry Yorath.
The Leeds legend sadly died at the age of 75 today following a short illness.
Daughter Logan was forced to leave midway through last night’s Match of the Day for a “family emergency”, prompting Mark Chapman to rush from his radio show to complete the broadcast.
Logan and other family members announced Yorath’s death in a heartfelt statement this morning.
And figures from around the sporting world also paid tribute to the football icon.
Among them was broadcaster Keys, who now works for beIN Sports in Qatar after leaving Sky Sports in 2011 amid a sexism scandal.

He and Logan had previously engaged in a back-and-forth feud after working together at Sky.
Logan made a series of accusations against Keys in her 2022 book, ‘The First Half’.
Keys denied Logan’s claims at the time and declared his intent to take legal action.
On Thursday he joined those who paid tribute to Logan’s dad Yorath.
But Keys was criticised by Woods and other presenters for his words.
He said on X: “Sad to hear the news of Terry Yorath’s passing. He was a warrior and won fans over wherever he played.
“He was great for us at Coventry and the reason I got Gabby a job at Sky.
“I had no idea who she was when we met but I knew her dad.
“RIP Terry. Your daughter did you proud.”
Keys’ statement prompted a backlash from popular TNT Sports presenter Woods, who labelled him a “t***” in a blast on X.
She said: “Sorry… but what a t***. Said with zero surprise.”
Fellow broadcaster Dan Walker also took aim at Keys on social media.
He added: “Richard, just imagine what it would be like for Gabby, or a member of her family, to read this.
“I’m hoping you have just worded this badly and it isn’t a dig at a really difficult time.
“There is still time to change it.”
And Sky Sports presenter Dan Bardell also joined in the criticism of Keys.
He stated: “Great to take a trip down self indulgent memory lane at this time. Thoughts with you.”
Keys later responded to the backlash, writing on X: “What a shame my words for a footballing hero of mine were entirely misinterpreted.
“Terry Yorath was a fabulous guy. A warrior. My affection for him meant I was more than happy to help him and his family in any way I could.
“Gabby’s career would make any father proud. RIP Terry.”
