Eight teams will compete for the title and over $10 000 in cash prizes in the 2026 iteration of the Kenson Casimir Bay Bay Cup football tournament. The tournament will kick off on January 25, at the Francis Baba Lastic Grounds, and aims to revive football in the northern community, paving the way for a stronger district team.
Bay Bay Cup 2026 was officially launched on January 20, at the Gros Islet Human Resource Development Centre, with Member of Parliament and Minister of Education, Youth Development, Sports, and Digital Transformation Kenson Casimir, sponsor representatives, players, coaches, and administrators from the various teams.

Under the auspices of the Gros Islet Football League, the tournament will serve as preparation for the third edition of the Saint Lucia Semi-Professional Football League, which is expected to begin in June.
The competing teams include reigning national club champions GMC United, Bay Bay Cup holders Northern United, warmup soccerama winners Monchy United, and Gros Islet Veterans, featuring Trinidad & Tobago international and Saint Lucia men’s head coach Stern John.
After the January 20 draw, GMC have been drawn in Group A, along with Dominators FC, Gros Islet Youth, and New Generation FC, an invitational team from Babonneau. Group B includes Northern United, Monchy United, Veterans, and Police.
Games will be played at the Francis Baba Lastic Grounds, Corinth Playing Field, and Grande Riviere Playing Field, with Casimir expressing the intention to prepare Monchy Playing Field as a fourth venue for the 2027 competition. Gamedays will be Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, with evening two fixtures daily.
