GUSTAVO LEMOS has revealed the injury which led to the postponement of his clash with Adam Azim.
The Argentine assassin was set to do battle with the Slough slugger in a super-lightweight showdown at London’s Copperbox Arena on Saturday night.
But it was announced on Sunday that BOTH MEN had pulled out of the bout due to injury and that the fight would be rescheduled for a later day.
Azim, whom many are touting to be a future world champion, has yet to reveal his injury.
But Lemos, 23, has opened up on his current condition in an apologetic Instagram post.
He wrote: “Unfortunately, I suffered a hand injury just a few weeks before the fight.

BENN’S PAIN
My brother was murdered when I was eight and my dad talked me out of revenge
“The decision to postpone was the best one, so I can be 100 per cent ready for this or any other fight.
“I assure you that the postponement will be better than you think.
“I’m continuing with my hand recovery and training.
“Thank you all for your support!”
Boxing fans are awaiting an injury update from Azim, who hasn’t fought since his 12th-round TKO of Kurt Scoby on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn II last November.
Azim’s loss has been the gain of WBC International bantamweight champion Fran Hennessy.
Hennessy, the daughter of former British boxing promoter Mick, will take on Ellie Bouttell for the vacant WBC Silver bantamweight belt.
The bout will top the bill of Boxxer’s latest BBC card, which airs live on BBC Two on Saturday night.
