SEAN DYCHE has been left dumbfounded by a Premier League rule that’s banned in the EFL.
The Nottingham Forest boss wants TOWELS to vanish as he ranted: “It’s not rocket science.”
Dyche – using Brentford as an example – questioned why the home team should be able to make the decision over usage or not in games.
And he reckons top bosses should just do away with them completely and make things less complicated.
He said: “They have towels on the sidelines. I can’t work that out.
“Not against Brentford, the rules. How can the home team be allowed to decide if they have towels on the sidelines or not?”

“It just adds in another layer of things for us to talk about and for us to worry about.
“Just say no towels. Dead easy, isn’t it? It’s not rocket science.
“Why make it more complicated? It’s unfathomable to me.”

Forest dumped Brentford 2-0 as they picked up a huge three points in the battle to avoid the drop.
The Bees regularly reached for the towel before launching the ball into the Forest area – essentially another set-piece advantage.
But in the end it didn’t prove effective or costly against the visitors as Igor Jesus and Taiwo Awoniyi scored the goals as Forest put five points between themselves and West Ham.
Leeds are level on points with Forest while Palace and Tottenham are just three points ahead of Dyche and Co, currently 17th.
