RANGERS boss Danny Rohl is desperate to add to his striking options before the end of the transfer window.
So far he’s been rebuffed in his attempts to land Hansa Rostock targetman Ryan Naderi – despite making a £2.6million bid for the striker who’s scored eight goals in 17 appearances this season.


We told you how a deal for Naderi was stalling due to Hansa Rostock’s stance on the situation.
The club are understood to be willing to hold out until the summer to land a bigger fee and they’re also concerned about letting Naderi leave without bringing in a replacement.
But we also told you today how that could become a source of ‘conflict’ as the player WANTS the Ibrox deal.
And now it’s being reported in Germany that Leeds Utd striker Joel Piroe is a ‘top candidate’ to join the Ibrox men on loan until the end of the season.

German journalist Florian Plettenburg on X insists that a move for Piroe “WOULD be the case if the Naderi deal collapses definitively.”
The 26-year-old has a year left on his current deal with Leeds – and you will recall how Celtic were credited with an interest earlier in the window.
Given the 49ers connection, allowing the star to go to Rangers‘ main rivals in the throes of a tight title race would have been a bizarre decision indeed.
