The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the general public, and in particular motorists, that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect for the 2026 INTERCOL Games, scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 17 to Thursday, 19 March, 2026, commencing daily at 9 am at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium.
All vehicular traffic entering the National Stadium will use the Queen’s Park Ring Road from its intersection with Cherry Hill and the Hump Back Bridge.
No vehicular traffic will be allowed to exit the National Stadium from the Green Bridge entrance while the games are in progress. Motorists will be permitted to exit onto the Hump Back Bridge or Cherry Hill and Queen’s Park Ring Road intersection.
NO ENTRY
Vehicular traffic will not be allowed in the following areas:
- Old Fort public road from its junction with Lucas Street
- Cemetery Hill from its junction with Church Street
- The Ring Road from its junction with Mt Rush Public Road to the direction of the Humpback Bridge.
ONE WAY: Mt Rush Public Road will operate one-way in the direction of Mt Gay
PARKING
- VVIPs, VIP: The concrete area (car park) of Kirani James Athletic Stadium
- Media/Police Officers/Officials/Caterers/Service Providers: The grass area to the left side of the concrete area of the Athletic Stadium
PUBLIC PARKING
- Gate 6
- Wesley College ground
- The area along the River Road side of the National Stadium. (Motorists accessing this area will enter via Humpback Bridge and make an immediate left)
- Minibuses on hire. (On the left side of the Ring Road towards Cherry Hill Public Road)
NO PARKING
Parking will not be permitted in the following areas:
- Queen’s Park Public Road from Keep Left to the main entrance of the stadium
- Mt Rush Public Road from its intersection with the Stadium Ring Road to the beginning of Cherry Hill
- Left side of the Stadium Ring Road in the direction of Darbeau
VENDING
- Persons will only be allowed to vend on the sea side of the main public road along the Western Main Road
- No vending will be allowed along Queen’s Park Road from Green Bridge to the main entrance of the National Stadium or any other area in the vicinity of the National Stadium
EMERGENCY ROUTE
All emergency vehicles will travel along Cemetery Hill, Church Street, Grand Etang Road, to the General Hospital.
