Montego Bay United (MBU) whipped defending champions Cavalier 3-1 to secure a comfortable win and remain atop of the standings after their Jamaica Premier League clash at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay yesterday. MBU’s Deonjay Brown scored in the fifth minute to give the league leaders a positive start, and in the 48th MBU doubled their lead through Richardo Ramsey. British native Jahmari Clarke gave MBU their third goal in the 73rd minute to sink the defending champions deeper. Cavalier’s Adrian Reid scored a consolation goal in added time.
